Getting Driving license in India is quiet easy.
There are no strict measures in testing the skills of the Heavy Commercial Vehicle Driver
LSP’s have a major challenge in getting drivers with good skill, discipline and ability.

Normal process of getting into driving a Car Carrier is to become an assistant to the main

driver. These assistants are generally the relative of the main driver or from his known herds.
Living near his home town and the grooming process starts. The so called assistant will be
with main driver for period of 3-4 years. During this time of internship with main driver the

assistant gets to know the vehicle in terms of Size, Road, Maneuverability and basic
maintenance. During this period of the assistant driver acts as a right hand man for the main

driver. Assistant also learns all the tricks which is used by the main driver during the trip good
or bad.
